Car Registration Hits 10 Year Low

The number of car registrations in the UK fell by 4.4% last year, to just 1.94 million – the lowest the figure has been in more than a decade. The demand for new cars has also fallen by 3.7% over the course of the year. In contrast, car production in the UK is on the up.
Ten years ago, there were more than 2.5 million registered cars in the UK. Throughout Europe, hatchbacks are a lot easier more common in comparison with sedans, as natural gas is expensive and space is in a premium.

Almost all subcompact models tend to be geared towards gas mileage and low cost. However, there is a greater wide variety in the subcompact category, appealing to different types of buyers. By way of example, the 2011 CR-Z can be a subcompact coupe. A Suzuki SX4 Crossover can be a hatchback that has all-wheel commute, currently a specialized feature amongst subcompacts. The all-wheel commute costs in relation to $1,000 more than the front-wheel commute model.
